THREE teenagers were trapped in a car after it crashed on a country road.
The car was travelling along Birdston Road, in Milton of Campsie, when it swerved to avoid a deer and hit a dyke wall.
Strathclyde Fire and Rescue crews from Bishopbriggs and Kirkintilloch stations attended the accident on Monday, February 20, at around 10.30pm.
The driver and passengers, thought to be around 17-years-of-age, were removed safely from the car. It’s believed no one sustained serious injuries.
Campsie and Kirkintilloch North councillor Charles Kennedy said: “It’s a treacherous road, fortunately no one was killed.
“If accidents like this continue to happen, we may need to do something about the markings on the road.”
