Tenants asked to complete survey

Survey of tenants
Survey of tenants

We’re asking over 36,000 council tenants across North Lanarkshire to give us their views and help us plan, develop and deliver housing services that meet their needs.

Our Tenants’ Survey is being delivered to the homes of over 36,000 tenants. And those taking part will have the chance to win one of ten home improvement vouchers worth £50 each in a free prize draw.

Taking part couldn’t be easier and there are a number of ways you can do this.

Tenants can complete the survey online at www.surveymonkey.com/s/nltenantsurvey2014 or just return the survey in the prepaid envelope provided.

Councillor Sam Love, Convener of Housing and Social Work Services, said: “By completing our Tenants’ Survey you’re providing us with valuable feedback which will help us shape the housing service to best meet the wide ranging needs of our tenants.

“Tenant Participation is a key priority for this council and the survey is just one of the ways we work with our tenants to ensure we’re providing the services needed. We issue this survey every two years and it follows our successful tenants’ conference which puts tenants at the heart of service delivery.

“Surveys like this are an invaluable way for us to improve the services we offer to our tenants and I would encourage as many people as possible to take a few minutes to complete this and pass on their views.”

We’re hoping to find out:

how we can improve and develop the services that are important to tenants;

what tenant priorities are, and

examples of good practice that we can put in place in other areas.

The closing date for returns is 09 January 2015.

And if you need help to fill in your form, please contact your local housing office or First Stop Shop and a member of staff will be happy to help.
