WHEN it comes to local news and sport your Herald is second to none . . . and that's official.
Latest figures have shown that the Herald is one of the fastest growing weekly newspapers in the whole of the UK, with sales in the region of 13,000.
Thanks to our growing army of readers, the Herald has been ranked 12th in the Newspaper Society's UK sales league table.
Established since 1883, the Herald has built up a loyal following of readers over the years and has been at the forefront of many local campaigns, including the fight to save Stobhill Hospital.
This week Herald editor Christine McPherson said: "Traditionally, the Herald has built up a reputation for campaigning on behalf of the communities we represent.
"That's a tradition we are proud of and one that is at the heart of our editorial policy.
"Life is local, and the Herald is proud to provide a voice for the communities we serve.
"It's nice to know that our readers appreciate the work we do, which is reflected in the latest sales figures.
