THE people of Kirkintilloch have had their say as the on-going saga surrounding Rob Roy Football Club’s new stadium development continues.

As revealed in the Herald, the club are looking to formally identify a new stadium site in the town by the middle of March.

A four-year attempt to move to a new complex in the Hayston area of Kirkintilloch was withdrawn because of concerns about the plans encroaching on the River Kelvin flood plain.

A move to Totty Parks, in the Hillhead area of the town, is one which club officials are known to favour.

Other suggestions include redeveloping Adamslie Park, building on a scrap yard site in Southbank Road, or moving to the site on which the Luggie Park ash pitch currently sits.

But where do the people of Kirkintilloch think the club should be based?
