Pupils at Lenzie Academy have been celebrating some fantastic exam results - with many students receiving a perfect set of grades.
To the delight of parents, teachers and pupils, the school had notable success when the latest Scottish Qualifications Authority exam results were revealed recently.
There were outstanding results in the new National 5 examinations, with an impressive 72per cent of pupils achieving the Scottish Government’s benchmark figure of five or more awards.
Meanwhile,a total of 95 pupils landed eight awards at National 5.
At Higher Grade 76 pupils achieved five Higher Grade awards - a total of 32 per cent of those sitting the exams.
And 20 pupils are looking forward to a bright future after receiving perfect marks - achieving five straight A grades.
Lenzie Academy head teacher Brian Paterson welcomed the results, which follow in the footsteps of a series of impressive marks in recent years for the school.
He told the Herald: “These are a fantastic set of results and a fitting tribute to the dedication and hard work of all pupils, parents and teachers within the school.
“The academic attainment of our pupils continues to improve and we now have an excellent three year rolling average.
“This indicates that this year’s results are no one year fluke but are borne out of our concerted efforts to realise the potential within all of our pupils and we are doing so very successfully”.
