Vandals hunted by police after attacks in Bishopbriggs

CAR and home owners have been left counting the cost after a spate of vandalism towards the end of last week.

In the early hours of Friday (April 12) morning a living room window and car rear windscreen were both intentionally smashed in The Leys, in Bishopbriggs.

Two rear windscreens were also smashed in Menteith Avenue, in Bishopbriggs - the first was broken with a rock between 5pm on Thursday, April 11, and 6.45am the next morning.The other was broken using a slab at around 1.30am on Friday, April 12.

A car was also vandalised in Wester Cleddens Road, Bishopbriggs, when somebody broke off the vehicle’s wing mirror overnight between Thursday, April 11 and the next morning. And in Torrance, a greenhouse pane was smashed at around 1.30am on Sunday, April 14.
