GETTING a chauffeur-driven ride to school, playing live on radio and meeting a top Scottish DJ – not a bad result for Callum Penman!

The P5 youngster at Glenmanor Primary, in Moodiesburn, won Radio Clyde’s Kool Ride to School competition.

Callum, who is learning how to play the pipes, got the chance to play his chanter on the George and Suzie in The Morning radio show.

He also talked about one of his favourite topics - Eddie Stobart HGV lorries.

Callum’s impressive performance on the show earned him and 11 friends a chauffer-driven ride to school, and Radio Clyde DJ George Bowie went along to take part in a special assembly.
