A COMMUNITY run village hall is set to host its first ever Spring Fair.

Campsie Memorial Hall Trust will hold the inaugural fair on Saturday, April 27, from 1.30-4.30pm and promise “something for everyone”.

The Trust took over the running of the Lennoxtown facility in December 2010 after the hall was faced with closure by cash-strapped East Dunbartonshire Council.

The event will include a huge variety of stalls including Hampton Soaps, jams and preserves, Indian spices, jewellery, crafts, face painting, nail art and lots more.

There will be a tea room with a selection of home baking and a tombola stall.

Entry to the fair is free but there will be a bucket at the door if you would like to make a donation.
