Windows smashed in Christmas outrage – police hunt vandals

THE bedroom window of a house was shattered during a shock attack on Christmas Day.

The property in Mount Pleasant Crescent, Milton of Campsie, was targeted between 3pm and 9pm on Sunday, December 25.

Meanwhile, an angry resident has been left with a £500 repair bill thanks to stone-throwing vandals.

The householder’s living room window was broken at some point between 2pm and 4pm on Monday, December 26.

The attack saw the resident’s Christmas tree crash to the floor, causing yet more damage.

In a separate incident, thieves fled with a bag full of gym equipment after breaking into a car.

Items worth around £300 were taken from the vehicle parked in Briar Bank, in Milton of Campsie. overnight between Thursday, December 22, and the next morning.
