Allan Glens are back in action

PLAYERS of Allan Glens Rugby Club dusted down their boots and jerseys after the summer break to take part in the first training session of the new season.
Nearly 40 players, both young and old, turned up to be put through their paces at the club's playing fields at the Bearyards.

Acting head coach and player, Greg Sinclair, will continue to work with the team, alongside player/coach Andy Gray.

Greg said: "It's great to see so many players coming down to support the club.

"We will have an exciting young team this year which are all eager to show their skills. It's a team which I am looking forward to see succeed."

Allan Glens Seniors will be training every Tuesday and Thursday from 7pm till 8.30pm and on Saturday's from 1.30pm – 3.00pm.

All are welcome to come and play or to support their local club.
