CLYDE'S hopes of remaining in the First Division are still alive following an amazing comeback against Alloa on Saturday.
The Bully Wee left it late at Broadwood before Pat Clarke fired home an extra-time winner to put them into the Division One play-off final.

Jimmy Gibson headed the hosts in front, but goals from Brown Ferguson and Derek Fleming gave Alloa a 2-1 lead at half-time.

In the second period, an own goal by Dusan Bestvina put the Cumbernauld side further behind before they launched their amazing fightback.

Gary Arbuckle lashed the ball home and headers from Willie Gibson and Gary McSwegan sent the tie into extra time.

And with just minutes left, Clarke finished sweetly to spark celebrations among the delighted Bully Wee fans.

The goal secured a 5-3 victory on the day, and a 6-5 aggregate win.

In the first leg of the final, Clyde play Airdrie United at New Broomfield Stadium tonight (Wednesday). Kick-off is at 7.45pm.

The second leg is at Broadwood on Saturday at 3pm.
