KEEN cyclists have been urged to join one of Scotland's oldest and most respected clubs.
The Glasgow Nightingale Cycling Club, which meets regularly in Torrance, currently has a membership of 70, and is keen to welcome newcomers, both male and female.

Nightingale's Wednesday League runs between April and September. Members meet at Torrance Community Centre at 7.30pm and enjoy a cup of tea and a chat afterwards.

The club is active in both participating in and promoting races and organises two annual open events, a road pursuit in March and a road race in May.

New members are always made welcome, whether they are a beginner or experienced.
