THE Kirkintilloch and District Darts League held their league doubles tournament at the Redbrae on Monday, April 28.
In the first semi-final, last year's winners Steve Green and Tommy Young, from Redbrae 1 defeated James Quinn and Isaac Doherty, representing Redbrae 2.

Peppermint's George Harris and Gibby McArthur then beat George Brannan and Martin Bell, of Smiths 2, in the second semi-final.

The Redbrae pair won the first leg in the final. George Harris then narrowly missed a 153 checkout to square the match, and Redbrae went on to clinch a 2-0 victory.

Steve Green, of Redbrae No.1, won the prize for the highest finish with a checkout of 100.

The league singles tournament will be held in Smiths Hotel on Monday, May 12, with Steve Green attempting to defend his title. All teams are urged to register by 8pm.

The presentation night and blind doubles tournament will be held in the Peppermint on Monday, May 19.
