KIRKINTILLOCH Rob Roy players have been giving 100 per cent – with nine points from three matches in less than a week.

Manager John Richardson has praised his young side for their footballing feats over six days.

Rabs followed up a 2-0 victory over Rutherglen Glencairn, with late goals from Chris Zok and Thomas Sinclair, by travelling to Pollok and thumping the Newlandsfield club 3-0.

Rabs’ lead after 28 seconds from Paul McQuilken was doubled by Zok in 10 minutes and the icing added to the cake with substitute Paul Craig’s strike at the death.

Second place Arthurlie were next to be put to the sword when Rabs recorded a 2-1 win at Adamslie Park on Saturday.

Rob Roy were due to play Petershill at Adamslie Park in the league on Monday and face champions-elect Irvine Meadow at home on Saturday, kick-off 2pm.
