Junior sides Kirkintilloch Rob Roy and Rossvale resume league duties this Saturday after enjoying a break from competitive action last weekend.

Both sides were without a game after being given byes in the first round of the Scottish Junior Cup.

Rob Roy rocked Ayrshire giants Auchinleck Talbot with a 2-0 win last time out and will look to carry on that form on Saturday when they entertain another Ayrshire side, Irvine Meadow, at Guy’s Meadow.

Stewart Maxwell’s side have enjoyed a fine start to their Super League Premier Division campaign after making the step up to the top flight following last season’s promotion.

Likewise Rossvale, last season’s Central District Two champions, have also started the season well and currently top the First Division standings after winning three of their first four games.

Martin Lauchlan’s free-scoring side will hope to strengthen that position on Saturday when they face Maryhill at Petershill Park.

Both Saturday’s fixtures kick-off at 2pm.
