Santa is the latest signing for Lenzie Youth Club!

LENZIE Youth Club’s Soccer Academy welcomed a surprise visitor to their weekly coaching season recently as Santa joined some of the players from the 2005/06 and 2001 age groups.

Santa made the long journey from the North Pole to hand out selection boxes to all the players training at Lenzie Academy.

The U6 Academy kids train on a Tuesday each week at Lenzie Academy and play Fun 4s in the EDSSA at Kirkintilloch High School on a Saturday morning.

The 2001 section U11 boys play Soccer 7s in the CSFDA – again on a Saturday morning, with home games at Millersneuk Primary. Lenzie also have several other Soccer 7 teams at 2000, 2002, 2003 and 2004 and hope to start their new 2007 Academy in spring 2012.

Parents and guardians can get their kids’ name on the 2007 waiting list by contacting Lenzie YC head coach Billy Inglis by e-mail on lyc1980@hotmail.co.uk
