Game on - Rabs set for Scottish Cup replay

Rob Roy fans will be heading for Guys Meadow, Cumbernauld tomorrow (Saturday) in the hope their team can clinch a place in the fifth round of rthe Scottish Junior Cup.

Rabs face Arthurlie in a fouirth round replay.

The tie has suffered at the hands of the winter weather and was postponed four times before the sides met on February 14.

That game finished in a 1-1 draw and they were due play each other in a replay last weekend - but once agian the weather took its toll and the match was called off.

Ahead of tomorrow’s game, Rob Roy manager Stewart Maxwell said: “It would be great to get a result. We still have 13 games left to play in the league and there is the potential if we get through to the next round of the cup to have 17 or 18 games to play as we head into March.”

Looking ahead to the cup replay, the Rabs boss said: “Both teams just want to get on and play now. There is only so much training you can do.”
