A TEAM of rugged rugby players tackled a moving challenge to help CALA Homes (West) recently.

Players from Lenzie RFC – sponsored by CALA Homes for the season – helped to move the contents of the existing Ranald showhome to the new Ramsay property at the popular Woodilee Village development.

The group created a “conveyor belt of strength” to shift items.

Liana Canavan, sales and marketing director at CALA Homes (West), said: “We have built up some great community links during our time developing Woodilee Village and we were delighted to take up the help of the Lenzie rugby team to help move showhomes.

“I would like to thank everyone at Lenzie Rugby Football Club for taking part, and we hope the partnership and strong relationship we have with them will continue to grow.”

Club president Donald Brodie added: “We were more than happy to help our friends at CALA Homes move into their newest showhome.”

He paid tribute to Cala for their support of the club and community.
