Undefeated Kirktintilloch boxer Alastair Black has been confirmed on the card for next month’s fight night in Kilmarnock.
The 23-year-old is hoping to claim his fifth victory in succession when he takes to the ring on September 20.
Though unaware of who is opponent will be, Black will share the card with a handful of other up and coming stars.
Among them, Ryan Collins will likely feature prominently on the bill as he looks to claim the International Masters title in front of a boisterous local Ayrshire crowd.
Glasgow duo Ryan Smith and Scott McCormack have also been confirmed along with Irvine’s Michael Jamieson.
For Black, the event could lead to more illustrious events with the prospect of joining former world champion Ricky Burns on the same card.
Black has been sparring with British and Commonwealth champion Willie Limond as he prepares for next month’s fight.
The event has been arrange for the Park Hotel, Kilmarnock, which is the venue for Black’s last victory in May.
Tickets are priced at £40 and the Kirky Puffer have confirmed they will be running a bus to and from the fight.
