Rob Roy are looking forward to building on the steady progress made so far in the West of Scotland super league first division.
Assistant manager Paul Ronald said the young squad was keen to get back on the pitch following Saturday’s postponed home match at Guy’s Meadow, against Greenock because of a frozen pitch.
Ronald said: “The referee decided to call off Saturday’s match because he deemed part of the pitch just too dangerous to play.
“It was a disappointment, because it will mean we will not have had a game for three weeks when we play this Saturday.”
However, on the plus side Ronald said it had given one or two of his players time to recover from injury.
Among them is midfield player Alan Urquhart who has a knee injury.
Ronald added: “We are just aiming to improve each week and take every game as it comes.
“I am happy with the progress the squad has made so far and d with the effort they are all putting in.”
On Saturday Rob Roy have an away game to Irvine Victoria FC. Kick-off is 1.45pm.
