Rabs Crash Out Of Cup

ROB Roy manager Jimmy Lindsay has admitted his team’s performance was “not good enough” after seeing them lose 1-0 to Rutherglen Glencairn in the first round of the West of Scotland Cup.

It was a shock result for Rabs, who currently sit second in the Super League Premier Division, who were expected to overcome their First Division opponents.

Lindsay told the Herald: “We huffed and puffed and had lots of penetration and possession, but just never really looked like scoring.

“Over the last couple of weeks we have been a great advert for junior football but we just weren’t at the races on Saturday.”

Rob Roy return to league business on Saturday with an away match against Clydebank at 2pm.
