Rob Roy are hoping to put a miserable few weeks behind them as they battle for a cup semi-final spot.

Rabs have lost five out of their last six league games, leaking a massive 21 goals in the process and tumbling down the table after flying high for much of the season.

But on Wednesday, the Kirkintilloch team will have the chance to end their season on a high at Adamslie Park as they take on Renfrew in the quarter final of the West of Scotland Cup (7.15pm kick-off).

Gaffer Jimmy Lindsay said: “The players are up for it. It would be good to get to a final and I’ve said to them we’re only three games away from the cup.”
