YOUNGSTERS at Rossvale Milan 2004s were served up some new strips and track suits thanks to sponsorship from Thai restaurant, Chaophraya, in Glasgow’s Buchanan Street.

The boys at the Bishopbriggs club have just finished their first season of 7-a-side football.

The club’s Andrew McCallum said: “The coaching staff would like to thank Chaophraya for sponsoring the team.

“In a short period of time the boys have developed into a strong unit playing some attractive football. “The boys will be travelling down to Blackpool in late August to take part in the Bispham tournament. This will be a tough challenge pitting themselves up against some strong teams from the north of England.”

“The team is pictured at Chaophraya with a recent award received for Fair Play at the Armadale Festival. It was awarded by the tournament organisers for their excellent behaviour and playing football in the correct way. Well done boys.”
