Rossvale await the Scottish Junior Cup fourth round draw after their third round win at Lanark.

Rossvale have landed a home tie with Stonehaven in the fourth round of the Scottish Junior Cup.

It’s likely to be a tough test for Martin Lauchlan’s side against a team who currently top the North Region Super League with just one defeat in 12 games.

But free-scoring ‘Vale have enjoyed a fine season so far, leading the way in the Central First Division after last season’s promotion, and will be hopeful of reaching the last 16 for the first time in the club’s history.

Rossvale got to this stage with a 2-0 home win over Pumpherston in the second round and a 5-0 success at Lanark United in the third round.

Rossvale are the third Central Region side Stonehaven have faced this season. Like Rossvale they got a bye in the first round before defeating Shotts Bon Accord 2-0 and St Anthony’s 3-1, both at home.
