ALLAN GLEN'S is to hold a fun day on Sunday to raise money to fund youth rugby initiatives at the Bearyards.

The Bishopbriggs club is creating a new rugby academy for children aged from 5-18 and is set to hold a host of fund raising events over the next few months.

A spokesperson for the club said: "We are about to employ a full time development coach which is a first in the club's history.

"We have also formed a new constitution aimed at bringing our fantastic facilities to all the children in our area."

The fun day takes place between 1-5pm on Sunday at the Bearyards and will feature a host of attractions, including stalls, bouncy castles, face painting, vintage motorbikes, putting and a dog show.
