GLASGOW Warriors players Finlay Gillies, Tim Swinson and Duncan Weir made a trip to Allan Glen’s to help out the coaches of Glens’ P6, P7 and S1/S2.

They used their knowledge of top level rugby to give the Glen’s boys some tips and tricks on how to get the best out of the game.

Duncan, Tim and Finlay had fun with the boys during the session, taking the lads through some scrum techniques and a bit of general open play training.

After a hard midweek session for the lads, the Warriors players made time to hang out at the club, long enough for all the boys to get much sought after photos and autographs from the table topping Warriors.

The teams were delighted to have the chance to meet their professional heroes.

Michael Alfer, Glens Academy President said: “It was an exciting treat for the young players at our local club, it says a great deal about the professionalism of The Warriors
team.

“They came along tonight and gave their own time to encourage the boys by helping with their rugby skills. For a lot of our young players, The Warriors team are just as famous and revered as the country’s top football players.

“It was a special night all round and something I think football fans could only dream of.”

Allan Glen’s are always looking for local boys and girls to come along and join the Academy. Check out their website for more details - www.pitchero.com/clubs/allanglens/
