CSFA 2002 league
Lenzie YC 6
North Kelvin United 0
Lenzie are slowly climbing up the league after notching up their second consecutive win.
They started well and took control of the game.
After a few near misses Paddy Campbell got in to rifle the ball home.
Campbell added number two before half-time from a well taken free-kick.
Lenzie started the second half at the same tempo, but North Kelvin seemed to tire on the massive park.
Lenzie piled on the pressure and added to their tally with an excellent Dylan Watton finish.
A great run in on goal from Lee Williams made it 4-0.
Then Dylan Taylor, who had worked the flank well, added number five.
Darryl Burnside completed the scoring to make it 6-0.
This was a good performance from Lenzie.
Thanks to two outstanding first-half saves by Alex McMillan, and a late stop from Lewis Graham, they claimed their first clean sheet of the season.
Referee’s Player of the Match was Paddy Campbell.
