White-out conditions wiped out Rob Roy and Rossvale’s Scottish Cup games at the weekend.

The ties will take p[lace this Saturday - weather permitting.

Rossvale were scheduled to play Musselburgh at Petershill Park.

Boss Martin Lauchlan said: “It was disappointing as this will impact on our league games.

“The Scottish Cup game will take priority over the league so hopefully we will be able to play Musselburgh this weekend.

“The conditions were very bad on Saturday, not just on the pitch, but also on the approach roads.

Rob Roy manager, Stewart Maxwell, whose squad had a game at Arthurlie, also said it had been a frustrating time, but hoped the cup clash would go ahead this Saturday.

He said: “It was frustrating. We wanted to play football, but it was judged just too bad to play.

“We have a young team and I would call on all our supporters to come down and support us. That would be much appreciated.”
