Young rugby players offered a try-out in Lenzie and Bishopbriggs
ALLAN Glen's Rugby Academy has commenced the new season.
The club have teams for all school aged boys and girls from P1 to P7 and for boys from S1 to S4.
Training takes place on Sundays from 12.30pm for all P1 to P7 teams.
The midi teams (S1 upwards) train on a Thursday evening from 5.30pm until 7pm and on Sunday from 1pm until 2.30pm. For more information e-mail mark.mooney4@sky.com
Meanwhile, Lenzie Rugby Club is running teams at under-13, 15, 16 and 18 age groups this year and are looking for both new and experienced players to join the club.
Rugby festivals take place on Sunday, August 29 and Sunday, September 5, with league matches starting on Sunday, September 12. Call Stephen Munnings on 0141 578 4989.
