Following a very successful first two years, the boutique music and arts festival ‘MugStock’ is back next year!

The organisers of the intimate family-friendly festival of music, merriment and more are delighted to announce that ‘MugStock’ will return to Mugdock Country Park next summer.

Hundreds of people enjoyed the fantastic range of live music, family fun and performances at the 2015 and 2016 festivals.

The event is managed and run by a team of skilled and experienced volunteers - supported by East Dunbartonshire Council and sponsors.

Mugstock returns from July 28 to 31 and there will be an array of entertainment on offer for adults and children including live music, theatre, art, comedy, performance, crafts, nature trails, and food and drink.

Alan Govan, MugStock Festival Director, said: “This year there was a 93 per cent increase in audience compared to 2015 - with over 1,100 people enjoying the many attractions on offer.

“We’re delighted to be returning to the beautiful Mugdock Country Park for our third festival.”

Councillor Eric Gotts, chair of Mugdock Country Park Joint Management Committee, said: “MugStock has established itself as one of the best live festivals around - attracting people from all over Scotland and beyond.

“The park is the perfect setting - offering a unique mix of natural beauty and great facilities.

“It’s great to see such innovative ideas being brought to fruition. I am particularly pleased by the strong support which was provided by country park colleagues and the council.”

Mugdock attracts over 600,000 visitors each year and boasts a range of natural and built attractions for people of all ages.
