You can bet on Fred for a good laugh
This summer will see MacAulay return to the stage with a number of festival dates, including his Kilsyth appearance on August 13. With his radio show MacAulay and Co. taking up most of his time these days, the 53-year-old admits he's glad to be getting out from behind the desk.
He said: "It's a long time since I've done anything like this in a small town like Kilsyth, I'm looking forward to it.

Fred will perform in the 1,200 capacity big top tent in Colzium Lennox Estate, a type of venue he admits can be a challenge.
"Performing in something like a big top is a bit different to a normal arena," said MacAulay.
"It depends how they lay out the seating. It could be that the audience is round 180 degrees, then you have to adjust your performance to suit."

"It's a great feeling to be on stage, it isn't like anything else.
That's why I'm looking forward to doing all these festivals like Kilsyth this year."
