5. Chicken Balti, Akbars - 573-581 Sauchiehall Street
Pictured here is a tender chicken balti with ginger, garlic, onions and tomatoes with a sprinkling of coriander. In our opinion Akbar's do some of the best curries in the city, so you really can't go wrong whatever your order. Just make sure to get one of their gigantic naans.
6. Special Dum Biryani, Charcoals - 74 Trongate
Charcoals is so respected in Glasgow for a reason - they cook up some incredible scran. You've got to try their signature biryani, the special dum comes with chicken, prawn, and lamb - but you can pick out any variation you'd like. We heard the king prawn biryani in particular is meant to be the business.
