Some businesses have had to change their offer to be able to keep trading and delivering services safely in these challenging times, and Caring East Renfrewshire wants to support them to survive and thrive.

The team behind the project wants visitors to discover something on their doorstep that perhaps they didn’t know existed.

Initiative lead Richard Hewitt said: “Before lockdown, we were supporting local entrepreneurs to set up or grow businesses that aimed to promote wellbeing in East Renfrewshire.

“All over East Ren people have been supporting their neighbours and communities to stay safe through the pandemic.

People want to support each other by shopping locally too. By helping local business who are trading safely to get the word out, we hope to connect businesses to new customers.

“If we work together, we can help to ensure we still have a vibrant community of local traders after this crisis.”
