East Dunbartonshire in top five of best places in Britain to live and work
East Dunbartonshire has been named as one of the top five best places in Britain to live and work, according to a new study.
As more of us continue to work from home due to the coronavirus pandemic, personal finance experts at money.co.uk delved through Office for National Statistics data to uncover where in Britain was best situated to achieve a good work-life balance.
Two Scottish areas made it into the top five – the Outer Hebrides, who took the coveted top place – and East Dunbartonshire who came in fourth among the best places to live and work in the most balanced way.
The idyllic Scottish island scooped the top spot thanks to its positive lifestyle-related factors, West Devon took second place, while North East Derbyshire, East Dunbartonshire and Newcastle-under-Lyme round up the top five.
