Packed with famous tracks, including Lullaby of Broadway, We’re In The Money, and one of the great showstoppers, 42nd Street itself, London West End stars Dave Willetts (Les Miserables) and Marti Webb (Evita) join forces to headline this show on it’s UK tour — with a week at the Kings Theatre running from June 26-30.
42nd Street debuted in 1980, winning two Tony Awards, as an adaptation of the 1933 movie of the same name. It relates the tale of how inexperienced-but-talented smalltown girl Peggy Swayer breaks into Broadway musicals with plenty of love (lorn and otherwise), confusion, cold hearts and warm friends.

From the famous opening shot (raised stage curtain revealing 40 pairs of tap-dancing feet) to the finale (Come and meet those dancing feet . . . ) 42nd doesn’t disappoint.
