YOU can win some ghoulishy good DVDs this week to celebrate the release of three iconic Hammer Horror classics.

‘Dracula Prince of Darkness’, ‘Plague of the Zombies’ and ‘The Reptile’ have all been lovingly restored and released on special edition DVDs.

The Herald has teamed up with Studiocanal to give away three sets of all three DVDs, which are packed with terrific bonus features.

‘Dracula Prince of Darkness’ stars Christopher Lee in the role he made his own. It’s timeless, evocative and still packs a chill.

The glistening restoration allows you to experience the film like never before. It’s essential viewing for horror and film buffs.

The audio commentary includes Dracula himself, Christopher Lee. The DVD is out now.

Due to be released on May 7 is ‘Plague of the Zombies’ – a favourite of horror expert and ‘Sherlock’ writer Mark Gatiss. A small town in Cornwall is over-run with zombies controlled by a master of black magic. Who can stop the undead onslaught? Again it’s been restored to eerie perfection.

Also out on May 7 is ‘The Reptile’ – Hammer at its most nightmarish and best.

A deadly epidemic is spreading through the remote Cornish village of Clagmoor Heath. As darkness falls its victims are found foaming at the mouth with savage wounds upon their necks.

After his brother becomes another fatality, Harry Spalding travels to Clagmoor to investigate his sibling’s mysterious death.

With little help from the superstitious locals, Harry follows a trail of macabre intrigue that leads him to the sinister Dr Franklyn, his strange but beautiful daughter and a truly horrific family secret.

We have three sets of all three DVDs to give away. To be in with a chance see this week’s paper.
