The weaving, spinning and dyeing of craft materials is at the heart of a new exhibition at Kirkintilloch’s Auld Kirk Museum.

‘Scotland - its landscape and its people’ features work by the West of Scotland Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers - marking their 30th anniversary.

Pieces on show range from dyeing with natural plant material to spun skeins and woven fabrics.

There will also be a demonstration of spinning on Saturday, May 11, and a ‘Try Weaving’ event on Saturday, May 18, when visitors of all ages will be welcome to have a go themselves.

The exhibition runs until June 15.
