STAND-ups will be taking to the stage at a new comedy night in Bishopbriggs.
Comedians Mark Davies and Ray Bradshaw have masterminded the monthly event at the Crow Tavern – with the first show taking place on Thursday, April 28, at 7.30pm.
Mark, from Robroyston, said: “I started doing stand-up about three years ago and have performed regularly since.
“Me and Ray will be compering alternate nights. We hope the people who drink in the Crow Tavern will get involved and then word will spread.”
The launch night will be headlined by Scottish comedian Raymond Mearns (who starred in BBC comedy ‘Legit’ and ‘Limmy’s Show’), with support from Graham Mackie and Gus Tawse.
Future headliners include Father Ted star Michael Redmond and panel show regular Jo Caulfield.
Tickets – costing £6 – can be bought on the night.
