Appeal after serious assault

They believe the men may be able to assist them with their enquiries after the incident outside Sainsbury’s in Argyle Street.

A 27-year-old man had to be taken to hospital after he sustained injuries around 3.40am on Sunday, June 26.

The men are both described as being white an in their late 20s. first male is about 6ft 3, slim build, blonde/light brown swept back hair wearing grey jacket, black jeans, second male is about 5ft 11, slim build, black hair, black stubble, wearing a black leather jacket, black top, skinny black jeans and black trainers.

Detective Constable Jacqueline MacIntyre said: “A violent assault like this within Glasgow West End cannot be tolerated and we seek the assistance of the public in tracking down those responsible.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact Greater Glasgow Police on 101 or alternatively call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be given anonymously.”
