STAFF and patients at an award-winning facility in the grounds of Stobhill Hospital welcomed Scottish soap stars recently.
Personalities from TV show ‘River City’ visited the Marie Curie Hospice to support the Great Daffodil Appeal.
Carmen Pieraccini, who plays Kelly Marie, was joined by fellow cast members Sally Howatt (Scarlet Mullen) and Stephen Purdon (Shellsuit Bob).
The talented trio met with staff and patients at the hospice in the grounds of Stobhill Hospital.
Sheila and William Reid, from Springburn, also chatted with the ‘River City’ cast.
Sheila (76) is an out-patient at the hospice and William (77) is her carer.
The Great Daffodil Appeal is the charity’s flagship fundraiser.
Carmen Pieraccini said: “It’s been very inspiring to meet with staff and patients and see first-hand the important work of the charity, and the support it offers to patients and families.”
