An appeal has gone out after a nine-year-old boy was injured after he was knocked down on a main road.
The collision, involving a Honda car, happened at around 11.15am on Saturday at Springboig Road in Glasgow.
Emergency services were called to the scene and the youngster was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
His condition has been described as stable.
The driver of the Honda CRV, a 45-year-old man, was uninjured.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact them on non-emergency number 101.
