Caribbean rock ‘n’ roll band Jointpop are set to perform at their first Scottish festivals this summer - and aren’t put off by the unpredictable weather.
Gearing up for their 4,300 mile trip, Jointpop will play Mugstock Music Festival in Mugdock Country Park near Milngavie on Saturday, July 30 and Belladrum Tartan Heart festival on Friday, August 3 as well as other gigs throughout the country.
Famed for their catchy tunes with a sunny rock twist, the five piece are no strangers to Scotland having performed at various venues in the past and gathering themselves a UK fan base.
Kicking off the Scotland leg of their tour on July 30, lead singer Gary Hector, said: “We are really looking forward to the gigs and travelling around Scotland again.
“We love Scotland because of the vibe, the amazing people and cool live music scene. During our mini tour we will be returning to some cities we played before and visiting some for the first time.
“We recently performed at Xponorth in Inverness which was great - and we can’t wait to play Belladrum and Mugstock too.
“We know Scotland isn’t as sunny as the Caribbean, but we will enjoy our time here despite the crazy weather!”
