Carluke teen Andrew McNaughton needs £300,000 for further education
Andrew McNaughton (17), of Shieldhill Court, was born at just 26 weeks old. He had bleeding in his brain when he was just two-days-old.
Remarkably, he battled back and, after attending Stanmore House School in Lanark, he is now looking to continue his education at college.

As a result, they have launched an appeal to raise £100,000 to pay for the first year of a three-year course at the specialist Beaumont College in Lancaster.
There have already been huge responses on the Facebook and Twitter pages that the family set up. And Heather is 100 per cent sure that Andrew will be able to get to college next year.
She said: “Beaumont has everything that Andrew needs and if he doesn’t go I feel like I would be failing him.”
