Cash will give Lesmahagow facelift

THERE were plenty of suggestions on how to transform the village centre of Lesmahagow at a recent community council meeting.

Thanks to money from supermarket giant Tesco and the European Regional Development Fund, almost £200,000 is available to improve the centre of the village with £70,000 for shopfronts.
