Lennoxtown residents are preparing for their Christmas lights switch-on - and they have secured a very special guest to do the honours.

Celtic boss Neil Lennon will be on hand to flick the all-important switch at Lennoxtown’s Christmas Fair on Friday, November 29, from 5-8pm.

The fair, held at Lennoxtown Primary, has been organised by the school, their PTA and the local council.

There will be craft stalls, laser quest, a ukelele band, community choir singing and plenty more.

Meanwhile, Milton of Campsie residents will be lighting up their village on Thursday, November 28, at 6pm at Charles Kennedy Gardens.

Santa will be making a special appearance at the event.
