All the fun of the Christmas Fair raised an impressive £1000 for Gartcosh Parish Church recently.
Dozens of local people turned out in force to donate to and support the event in the church hall.
Visitors could choose from a wide range of stalls, including home baking and arts and crafts, and there were prizes for the person who could guess Santa’s birthday.
Volunteer Minnie Coyle, said: “The church has two annual fairs and we always have one at Christmas. The day was a big success and very well attended.
“The tearoom in particular and the home-baking were particularly popular with visitors!”
All the money raised will go towards church funds.
Sunday Club leaders Lynne Barrie and Natalie Quate are pictured at one of the many stalls. See this week’s Kirkintilloch Herald (December 4)for more photos from the successful event.
