Collection day change for recycle of rubbish

There has been a change to the recycling collection days over the Easter Holidays in East Dunbartonshire.

From Good Friday (April 18) until Friday 25th, brown, blue and garden bins will all be collected one day later than usual. General waste collected in grey bins and food waste collection will not be affected by the holiday weekend break.

Grace Irvine, director of neighbourhood services, said: “We have aimed to minimise any disruption to residents, but the holiday weekend will have a slight effect on recycling collections.

“If your recycling bin is normally collected on a Friday, it will now be done on a Saturday. If it’s normally on a Monday, we will collect in on the Tuesday - for one week only.”
