Four teenagers reported after delivery driver injured in Milngavie

A delivery driver was allegedly assaulted in Milngavie on Saturday night.

Police and ambulance crews were called to Douglas Street in Milngavie after reports of a disturbance.

The 26-year-old victim was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment to "a number" of injuries.

Four teenagers, aged 15 and 16, have been charged in connection to the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “At 9.40pm on Saturday, February 13, officers received a report that a 26-year-old man had been assaulted in the Douglas Street area of Milngavie.

"The man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.

“Two boys, aged 15, and two boys, aged 16, have been charged in connection with the incident and will be reported."
