Kirkintilloch: Man charged in connection with approaching girl (13) and following two women
A man has been charged in connection with approaching a teenage girl and following two women in Kirkintilloch.
Police said the 38-year-old man has been charged after reports on April 21 that he approached a 13-year-old girl near Merkland Drive andfurther reports of following two women in the Industry Street area on May 13.
In a statement, Police Scotland said: "A 38-year-old man has been charged in connection with following two women in the Industry Street area of Kirkintilloch on Wednesday May, 13 and approaching a 13-year-old girl in the Merkland Drive area on Wednesday April, 21.
"He appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday and has been remanded in custody.”
