Defibrillator taken during weekend raid on Lenzie Rugby Club

POLICE are hunting thieves who stole a piece of life-saving medical equipment from a rugby club.

The defibrillator was taken during a break-in at Lenzie Rugby Club between 1am and 9am on Saturday, February 16.

It is not thought anything else was removed during the raid on the club, in Lenzie’s Viewfield Avenue.

If anybody knows anything about the whereabouts of the defibrillator - used to restart a person’s heart with a short electrical shock - call police on 0141 532 4400.
